Have been having a read back and there is far too much to comment on - you lot are very talkative. I have been keeping Mum company with shopping, the crossword and watching soaps. Dad's knee was very painful today so couldn't come out with us. Bet he's in the other room kicking the football for Liverpool though.
Hope you get a good result from your x-ray Hosta. Very frustrating when you want to get going.
Lovely pics yesterday - got my exercise from Rb's ducks and loved the one of Beaus
KEF - I'm a wimp like the others who would need an injection (preferably sedation) for a trip to the dentist.
I managed to 'find' three agapanthus bulbs/corms and a pieris flaming silver in my car boot this afternoon
Have a good evening all - time to make the cocoa - mine's a Vodka, cheers
Day started well, potted on various Autumn sown seeds, all looking healthy.
Then decided to go to GC for more compost, and the car supposedly fixed yesterday, blew up in a black cloud of smoke. Garage phoned me later, and swore blind it was not related to their work. Now have no car, and probably another large bill.
So the rest of my day has been spent in a tense, stressed strop.
Now drinking Scotch and smoking heavily, no prospect of the e-cig today.
Sorry to vent, but it helps.
Sleep tight all.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Well hello, lovely people! Y.ou all seem to have been really busy as usual - hope you're less tired tomorrow, Yvie. It's easy to overdo gardening this early in the year! And best wishes to Hostafan for the x-ray - hope the knee is soon sorted out
Won't be on here for a few days because of my Welsh singing trip (coals to Newcastle I reckon!) so thought I should make an effort & pop in before going to bed. But I'm typing VERY QUIETLY SO AS NOT TO WAKE ANYONE UP.
Got soaked to the skin this morning, helping clear brambles, saplings and beer cans from behind the bowling pavilion in our local park. Somehow it's really difficult to stop and let the side down, when everyone else in the group is as wet as you... Anyway, we made a big improvement to the area, and I warmed up eventually, after a nice hot shower.
This afternoon I took Mum her birthday jasmine plant & she was delighted. I know they'll make a fuss of her tomorrow, with a birthday cake etc, and she'll be fine without me there.
NIght all. See you in a few days...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Morning forkers. Yes Hostafan1, Rob from allotment challenge seems like a lovely guy and was my favourite. Good luck today for the knee
Seems like punkdoc needs luck too! My old grandad used to say, change one part new on a car and a dozen more things go wrong after because they're not used to the new bit this was the man who once lost a wheel while driving so...love you gran-pops but maybe not words of wisdom

Sorry to hear about your car Pdoc . Hugs x
Nite nite everyone
P'doc I think I would ask for a second opinion re the car just in case the problem is related to the previous repair. Hope you don't get too stressed.
Enjoy your trip Liri.
glad Rob won allotment challenge. Methinks a tv career is looming for him. Lovely guy.
