Chicky - that's a good one - I think there's a car wash at our local GC
Lunch again Lizzie? You deserve a break though after all that planting. Good luck with the rest of the manure
Hope workers day flies by and the weekend can begin. You've got a nice day for the start of your week off Fairy and the forecast looks good for a few days.
Are you going to try the help line again bekkie? Now beaus knows who it is she may talk to you
Good morning all I am home and have taken my splint off as an experiment - fingers crossed that it can stay off
I've had a lovely couple of days dashing around East Anglia with my son. Now the washing is in the machine and there are loads more tomatoes to pick, roast and freeze
Verdun, hope all goes well today.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I'll echo that - hope it all goes well for you today Verd. I've only skimmed through posts during the last few days but I know you're having some stress with mum. Looks like you've turned a corner now though
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Glad you had an enjoyable couple of days with your son Dove. Hope OH remembered to feed the 'hogs Hopefully it won't be long before you can drive again.
Beaus - I really am trying to restrain myself from calling but it's sooo hard. Just thought about your dinner party - there will be more room round the table now Jason wont be coming
I'm going down to Mum and Dad's tomorrow and I got my case down from the attic last night and had such a fright because as soon as I turned the light on up there a starling started flying around my head I know that they nest and take shelter under the tiles but I didn't realise they could get right in.
They're b*****s for it Lesley. Once they're in it's hard to get them out. We had them in the annexe at last house and we had a terrible job blocking the holes when we were selling. The 'flight path' crossed a fence around the courtyard area and the mess would have been dreadful for viewers, so it was vital we stopped them nesting there. The people across from me have them and don't seem bothered about the damage it's causing to their property
Right - I'm off to get my wig shorn before getting outside. May go to GC as I'll be halfway there anyway. Well, it would be silly not to....
Catch you all later

No gardening again today - it's the dreaded HW. - then off to afternoon tea with OH and daughter as a belated birthday treat. Excited about that, should be an experience
Friends coming tomorrow and we are all off to Malvern Show on Sunday - gardening, I hope, will start again on Monday
I've been doing dreaded HW too Matty. At leat you have a lovely afternoon to look forward to. A belated happy birthday to you Enjoy Malvern - Woody will be reporting back this evening from his visit I hope.
OH will probably ignore the problem Fairy and hope it goes away. I can't stop thinking of the Hitchcock film 'The Birds' I'm always wary of going past the rookery at the bottom of the lane.
