Hi everyone Had a quick skim read back and looks like you have all had busy days.
I was at football yesterday from 12.15 and got home about 11, we upgraded yesterday because the wives and girlfriends went along (which we don't do very often) and had a box so I was just a little worse for wear after too much wine......oops (Panda can empathise with that I believe ). Needless to say I felt a bit out of sorts today
Mum and dad came today, they're brought me goodies.......hyacinth bulbs, some grasses, some cerise pink Cosmos seeds (that mum 'stole' from a plant she saw while waking LOL), sweet William baby plants and best of all.......a tin bath
Anyway, another busy week coming up and away with OH Tuesday-Thursday so might not be around (again), hopefully things will settle down soon
Glad you had a lovely holiday Yvie, Dove I hope you are on the mend, hugs to all those still poorly and with poorly relatives.
Lily, take it easy while healing your sister, we don't want you injured too.
Right, that's all for now, night night all and take care xx
We still have friends staying, they came to Italy with us, so haven't really had time to catch up. We had a great time and while we were away friends stayed here to have a holiday in Dordogne. It was lovely to see them again too, wish they could have stayed a bit longer. I first met her here on the forum about 2 years ago!
What a horrid thing to happen, Dove, thank you for the explanation. Hugs. Hope you heal quickly.
Going to a funeral tomorrow, a friend's husband died, he was elderly, but I fear she is going to be so lonely.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Glad to see you back Lizzie - and good to hear you had such a lovely holiday. Lovely pressies for OL - aren't we a funny lot - getting excited over gifts of tin baths. I have one with 3 hostas in it - i love it. Have a good/busy week with OH.
Pdoc - glad the garden worked a little bit of its magic - will be thinking of you this week. Difficult times.
Expecting a manic week of work this week (and then a quiet spell, relatively speaking) - so may only have time to lurk. But watching your antics will keep me sane.
Fidget - thanks for the tip. My Kindle will be put in it's place at last and not allowed to decide what I mean in future I can make enough mistakes of my own.
Sounds as though you had a lovely holiday Lizzie.
Happy new tin bath OL I like the idea of hostas in one chicky
My SIL and niece are visiting today so looking forward to a lovely day.

Only when you're not looking fidget....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I was spending more time correcting than typing.

Seems like everyone has been busy.
I have tried to relax and do nothing, and I think I do feel less stressed. Up early tomorrow for drive South to Mums, and more days of who knows what?
Hope all the workers have a good week, that the rest of you get out in our gardens and that the sick get better.
