Morning, lovely bright & sunny here, not sure of temp, but about to find out - walkies Shadow.
H*******k here today after Charlie & dog shared their mud everywhere yesterday. BL he didn't fall off log into stream but he may as well have done he was that wet.
Good day to all, hope all your engineers & builders behave & the coffee keeps flowing for those that need it.

Morning all. Day off (yay) so I am laying about most pathetically nursing yet another cold (throat feels as though its in tatters) and sorting insurance quotes, puppy classes and other rock and roll delights they never told you about growing up out before meeting with the boss for a walk at Rother Valley where we'll be introducing the dogs for the first time... it'll be interesting!
On the way home we might visit a garden centre: I'm looking for ways to keep feet (both dog and partner) off the vegetable beds.
Pauline I don't think BT engineers start work before 8am Lucky you are getting BT I'm expecting one from EE. I do have some sympathy for engineers who have their work loaded by call centres who at times will tell you anything
Bekkie I meant I was dressed and fed by 7.45am not done HW
Bought some bigger pots for my house plants that miraculously manage to survive periods of long drought, heavy pollution and a serious lack of vitamin D when I forget to draw the curtains in the lounge
More bird food. I ran out yesterday and I think they noticed because they were on the feeders as soon as my back was turned after refilling them.
Now that I am also fed and watered, I will be busy in my garden all day! It's beautifully sunny, gorgeously warm but not overly warm, everything is flowering, my heart is filled with joy and the birds are singing.
Did I forget to mention it's the virtual records from my photo album on the PC? I'll be making my mind up about where to place plants
Our friend is a BT engineer with a tracker fitted in his van and a manager who monitors him like a so and so his appointments are given to him he has no say in where or when he does a job, reports back and is given another.
EE (contractor) engineer has been. A nice young chap who can't do anything as the fault is exactly what we told the call centre is was Nothing wrong inside the house the fault is outside and BT need to come, we now have to wait for a call from EE hopefully within the next 24hrs (India I suppose) confirming when BT can come.

Gosh, 5C this morning, and the snow on the little bed across the road has melted, leaving soggy flat brown foliage. Better get out there I think!
I was given a Kindle a couple of years ago, Chicky, and was iniitially underwhelmed. But it's really useful on holiday...

Hi all.
Back from the gym and small shopping in town.
Bought some bigger pots for my house plants that miraculously manage to survive periods of long drought, heavy pollution and a serious lack of vitamin D when I forget to draw the curtains in the lounge

Verdun hope you feel well soon.

Pauline glad you got your problem sorted
Sunny here so I'm off into the garden.
