Kalespera everyone, I hope everyone is ok and you have all kept safe and well while I've been away.
We had a lovely holiday, totally relaxed and refreshed now as well as being full of Metaxa (oops!! LOL).
If I remember rightly it is Verdun's birthday today so belated happy birthday Verdun (I will of course also post on the designated thread ), and I think there was a trip out planned so I hope you all had a lovely day.
I hope Lesley's mum is better and that Lesley is back home with her 3 'boys'
Well that's all for now, off for a quick mooch and bed
Had such a busy week not even had chance to look in here, guests coming and going and more again tomorrow, anyone would think it's a hotel here, ahh, actually it is, that'll explain it!
Also son's official birthday party today, as opposed to the unofficial one on his official birthday last week, if you can follow, anyway cake each time so not complaining, except I had to make them and up until after 11 last night making a Mario cake, and after all the effort forgot to take a picture too. Never seen a cake demolished so quick so it must have been good, sorry Verdun, not a crumb left to send over for you, Happy Birthday to you too though.
Have managed to get some edging done on beds, with help of a friend, so looks a bit better for that.
Had a lovely day out at http://www.jardins-imaginaire.com/ but although it was nice think probably wrong time of year, certainly a lot left to the imagination rather than the reality. They made a big thing about the sound of water and linking with nature etc. but couldn't help thinking about where the nearest loo might be.
Another couple of dahlias opened this week and they do look lovely, not bad for a bargain basement buy.
Will try and catch up with all the posts but will probably lose track, so best wishes to all whatever is going on with you and will try and keep up to date more this week!
