  • Evening all,

Here is a pic for you Beaus Mum - rhubarb area all done now had to clear some acanthus from behind area and put a few stakes in on trellis behind.

Rhubarb one really leafy plant the other to the left little small crown and I planted a few violas that self seeded themselves around the garden that is the dazzling yellow paint

So like my rudbeckia that I sowed from seed this year

After the rhubarb area - I planted out three dog wood plants that had been waiting to go in for ages, filled my nursery bed up with 2 more bags of compost, removed plants from my large tub dug it over  - behind in bottom pic and shifted compost from one bin to the other

sat in sun for a bit

Then later did a bit of painting on my pallet project

so that is some bits of my list done

Very nice, Gg, but that rhubarb, if it grows properly, will completely swamp the other stuff around - is it just to fill the space till then?

Do I infer that Edd is another gardening sailor?  Or sailing gardener?

Saw this boat in the Hamble on Sunday

Anyone got £160 000 to spare?

  • Steve 309 - yes the violas are just to fill the space for now, was looking a bit bare - so went and found some plant to put in the raised bed
