Evening all, you've all been chatty over the last couple of days.  Been in Worcs with no computer so couldn't catch up.

I wonder how BM got on today.  I hate moving house it's so stressfull and such hard work.

Had a bit of good news re mum yesterday, they are really pleased with her blood circulation now and think they may be able to save her foot.  So fingers crossed.

Weather here is OK no ice or snow at the moment, I'm hoping it stays that way.

Off for a quick look round.

  • Yvie thats great news about your mum image, hope you are recovering from nana duty with a glass of something niceimage

Oneofseven, thank you, but i dont think its pain, ive always been able to ask him what it is he wants, he will wag his tail for yes, or give me a filthy look for no! He is also quite happy to chuck his toys in the air and wriggle around on the sofa, seems generally happy as long as he isnt using his legs, especially the front ones. My lovely vet has said there is nothing else he can give him, george is on the top dose of prednolectutropin.

So, what yummy concoction have you all had for dinner, or tea if youre from by me image

Hello folks image  Supper eaten, OH is washing up, I'm on the sofa with a second glass of rosé image

Just been watching Sounds of the Sixties from 1966 - Moody Blues, Paul Jones and Manfred Mann, the Kinks, the Stones and the Pretty Things  They were all over my bedroom wall way back then.  About 15 years ago I actually met Ray Davies of the Kinks as he was star guest for the music festival I worked for - others knew I was a huge fan and we were placed next to each other at a big reception - I was shy and he was shy and we just drank champagne together and we hardly spoke a word image

    Hi All

Thought I had better give you a fitness report and the other thread didn't seem right at moment.

I am slowly getting more like me - still very sore , but am getting more movement, and pain control is sorted (phew)Get tired easily though.

I went for a walk to shops today - furthest yet. When I came home I chatted to some neighbours but OH saw me, escorted me in, put a mug of tea in my hand, lit the burner and told me not to do anything (I had bought myself a chocolate florentine so ate that as well)

This being spoilt could become a habit - bet he won't do garden when time comes though.

Seeds have arrived for practice wedding flowers, so when do I start????image

Hope you are all Ok and busy planning your plots

    B

  • Matty, great to hear you are a little better, your OH sounds so sweet, maybe its wise to just plan what goes where as far as the flowers go!image

Dove, you are spoilled too, glass in hand while OH does the washing up! image

My OH was having a glass of red wine while watching the rugby in our bedroom...you guessed it, spilled it all over the place! Ive just had to strip and remake the bed, no wonder he dosent usually drink-obviously cant handle it!image

My name is Yvie and I'm a shopaholic.

I've been at it again, got bored this evening which led to me buying a Liquidamber slender Silhouette.

the garden is my therapy hopefully it will help her too.

plan for today slashing brambles and a bonfire, I hate sitting in doors.
