Birds have been fed and ice has been cleared in the birdbath. I think I'll visit the Aged Ps today - it doesn't look as if the roads will be too bad later this morning, and the forecast for tomorrow is for more precipitation
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Wintersong - Pets at Home do the milk. I'm not sure which part of tge milk is dangerous, if it were the lactose I'd just buy the "dairy free" milk from the supermarket!
We're off to the kennels at lunch time. Fingers crossed!
Bright and sunny here, there is a dusting of snow, think it will be gone in an hour or so
I havent cut Georges food down, its the drugs that make him stupidly hungry, he has 3 cans of meat a day and his joint care chew
Wintersong, can dogs have the dairy free stuff, lime the stuff i have?
P'doc, if winter in sheffield is getting to you, i dont fancy your chances on your expedition! Get your coat on and get down the shops!
Hope your birds have been fed and your back in safely Kef!
GG thats another example of how dangerous housework is! I reckon we should all give it up, any how didnt tomorrows world promise us we would have robots for all that stuff by now?
Southampton had the slightest, weeniest dusting of snow- so very dissapointed to wake up to it being soggy out there instead a winter wonderland!
Got the usual amount of homework to knock out today- we have a screening of our animatics next week so i want to get lots of animation done for it. I also have a piece of concept art to do for a client and have a lot of exhibition work to do for an upcoming exhibition in Soton- and on top of all that, I have a load of housework to do!
I wish the washing up fairy was a real thing
Pdoc- I'm so jealous!!! Enjoy it to the best you can, I wish we had all that lovely snow down here
Bekkie- I think they promised us hoverboards and self lacing shoes this year! I'm still in hope
Fritillary, I, too, had a Border Collie that loved eating blackberries off bushes.
French houses have windows that open inwards. They have outside shutters, so you can open the window for ventilation with the shutters shut. They are easy to clean but means no window sills, which I miss. We put some wooden shelves under some of the windows here but can't put much on them if you want to open the window.
Howling gales and pouring rain last night, bit alarming, but wind has dropped now and rain has stopped. Was -2°.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Stranded 4 miles from home! Been for a 5 mile run around local lake & now remote key on car won't work. Trying to be clever climbed in through the boot (manual opening) but immobiliser has flummoxed me. Oh well, more exercise & at least it's not snowing. think I too will be in need of brandy shortly!
“Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?” —Betsy Cañas Garmon
P'doc, you wrote that as if you were hoping to find a husky or st bernard for dinner!
DD! Glad you got home ok, you deserve that coffee! Shadow is gorgeous , may i suggest you give up running and take up mountain biking or something, at least you would have transport home!
BK, sorry it didnt snow for you, but at least that means your not distracted and can get your homework done , dont suppose you could get away with saying the dog ate it???
Clarington, are you there yet? Have you got a dog yet? Come on woman, need to know what you get!

Made it. Got down to mini SM, and it was like a horde of locusts had been through it, just had enough so I can cobble something together for dinner.
No Huskies or St. Bernards though, which was a shame.
When you don't even know who's in the team
S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
That bit where I said "least it's not snowing" - mistake.
Home safe, warm shower & hot coffee, no brandy here either! Shadow exhausted bless him.
How did you get home? Were you able to start the car? Doesn't your key have a little manual one in it for emergencies? Scarey.
