Glad DD, BL and Dove all had lovely days, that place you went to looks lovely Dove.
If anyone is arranging a trip in west yorks I would be interested, maybe even south yorks at a push (it's a bit further) and possibly Staffs......depending if it could be on a football day
My very good friend came for tea tonight, a last minute decision this afternoon as she was fed up so came all the way from Warrington to see me, home made gourmet burger and home made oven chips, bottle of Rose (mainly for me obviously) and lots of gardening done, I've filled a green wheelie bin and the borders look so much better, I'm really pleased. Ankle aching now very much so having another glass of vino for medicinal purposes and also because I might need it when OH gets in from the match!!!
Anyway, my point of that story was....my friend bought me a Ceanothus, isn't that kind Not sure where to put it yet as it likes sun but needs to be protected from wind.....that might prove difficult
MrsG, I forgot to say (that's becoming my favourite saying!!).....I think my OH tells my I'm Charlie D just to make me do what you did......these men!!!

I thought ceanothus could go anywhere? Mine all seem to do well albeit in sun or shade, they are lovely plants
I suspect I'll get a funny look in the cake shop tomorrow....
