Just watching the ww1 commemorative service on bbc1, very touching, is it really awful to mention the flower arrangements are stunning, very nicely done. Dont think i can watch any more, such awful things.
Good luck dove, I've got my two nieces Thursday night !
Would be lovely to meet up Bekkie and with Yviestevie too I'll let you know when we are back again but need couple of weeks or more to get over this weekend
Hope you get your little one sorted Liri, soon as they know what is causing the problems sooner she will be well bless her heart. They are very good theses days and more aware of all theallergies and there are so many Bet they will be all the better when you get there
Bekkie, she's 18 weeks old. She's not at death's door or anything, and is putting on weight, or the docs would be really worried. It's just exhausting for my daughter, dealing with up to 15 dirty nappies a day and an uncomfortable baby (plus a 2-year-old). She'll get sorted eventually I'm sure - you're right, there are lots of options, but the main problem is getting help quickly. The first appointment she was given with a paediatrician was November, so she's trying to make a nuisance of herself to get an earlier appointment. You really shouldn't have to, when it's a baby, I think... But in the meantime I'm trying to help as much as possible, including looking after their garden when I can - a bit tricky when they're an hour and a half away...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
BM glad you had a nice trip to the Black Country. Yes would love to meet up for coffee we could meet at Merry Hell and perhaps arrange a trip to a local Garden or GC. Ashwoods is nice and close and is a very good GC. Bekkie is only just up the road from me (relatively speaking) so we could have girly chat.
Liri, hope baby is OK I know exactly how your daughter feels. When second born arrived she had a cows milk allergy virtually unknown in those days at birth. After a fight I got doctors to agree and moved her onto what was a new product SMA Soya Milk. She improved overnight , severe eczema disappeared and stomach problems improved. She was allergic to all dairy a nightmare when trying to wean. But all that improved as she got older. She now has an intolerance of dairy and a nut allergy but has grown up very healthy. Im sure as soon as they find the reason your grandaughter will feel much better and so will her mom.
Now the arm, doctor says I have a trapped nerve and muscle damage (probably due to pulling much too hard on Japanese Anemones). I have some tablets and cream and he says it should start to improve in a few days. Thats good to hear as at the moment I cant even open my own front door as you need two hands to do it.
Bekkie it was beautiful and sunny so I got hubby to put up the pink brolly, now its cloudy and we had a few spots of rain, hopefully we wont get any more. I refuse to be suspicious about this so I'm leaving it up for now.
I have one little patch of the dreaded anemone left, I might go and dig it up left handed while hubby is out at the gym. He'll never know.
Just caught up with my mum and really need to get cracking too Why so much washing and only away two days?!! One of life's mysteries
Beautiful day here and whilst talking to mum on swing seat at the bottom of the garden I watched gorgeous little mouse climbing holly hock up to bird seed dish on bird feeding station and then back again under my neighbours shed! Did it about three times!
Liri that is terrible your little grandchIld has to wait till November for appt. I'm quite sure your daughter is but very good idea to keep diary of all the baby has food and drink wise and the amount of nappys and consistency etc of the nappies to go with on her appt xx
