Morning all. Heavy frost here, but looks like there might be some sun today.

Really must get leaves off the lawn.

    Have a good day all.

How can you lie there and think of England

  • Thanks KEF - much better this morning (wasn't really bad anyway, just making a fuss image).

I'm going to join Pdoc outside raking leaves this morning - if I help with his maybe he'll help with mine image

    Good morningimage

No frost here as Fairy said and I can't believe that there are still lupins and roses in flower at this time of year. Must get out today and do a bit of tidying up or at the very least deadhead the pansies - they are looking very sadimage

What a kind, generous brother you've got KEFimageimage

Hope you all have a good dayimage

Lesley & Fairy so kind of you both to let Verdun have your frost image

  • Morning all.

No frost here and better still its stopped raining at last and the sun is just peeking through.  YAY!

Not sure what I'm doing yet......should go leaf raking......can I borrow your Kef when you've finished. Or perhaps OH could just go out there with his blower/sucker thing.

    Time for another cuppa first.

    Tatty bye for now image

Morning everybody. VERY cold here - but also wall to wall sunshine image
Yesterday it rained non stop from the wee small hours until early evening. It's now all very squelchy out there & there is a flood warning for the next village.
Just getting a few domestic chores done - then out to sweep some leaves, clear a raised bed of soggy, slug munched salad crops & plant some garlic in their place.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Well I spent yesterday between the bed and the toilet. I phoned mum to say I couldnt do the hospital run, and she had been the same. We assumed we had food poisoning from the buffet at the party, but no one else was affected. By lunch time I figured Norovirus as I ached all over as well. My sister did the hospital trip. Lots of signs up at the hospital warning of norovirus. One ward in lockdown because of it. It looks like we picked it up in EAU on Friday.

My dad thought he should go home to look after mum!

My sister opened mums back door, threw a large pack of dettol wipes through, and legged it.

I'm feeling a lot better, about to start boil washing all towels and sheets and  bleaching all surfaces.

I might have been premature starting the boil washing. Looks like OH is starting with it. image
