I think you can rest assured that we know you have an interest in worms Edd Wish I came across some more often in the garden. I think they drown
Dove, your daughter had some great gardening presents. They're the best kind
Thanks bekkie and Winter re my back. Couldn't lift my left leg without yelping yesterday but fortunately just stiff today. Hope your ribs are OK bekkie. It's an unfair fight when you take on a tree as they have more limbs. Winter you did the right thing by having a quiet day
Lizzie and Yvie hope your aches and pains ease off today. Nice gardening weather makes it too tempting to overdo things
Nice box of plants DD. Hope this week isn't as hectic for you.
Just been out to the GH - its quite nippy out there - just above freezing, but thankfully no frost (got a magnolia about to bloom, and don't want the show spoilt before its started).
be careful those with achey muscles. I reckon I actually hurt my back last Sunday, and it was Tuesday before it really started bothering me, and Thursday when I succumbed to the nurofen (other pills are available)
Edd - a question on worms.......I spent yesterday spreading horsemuck, writhing with thin pink worms, on my garden. I know from experience that by next weekend they will be gone. Have they burrowed into my soil, or just decided that a couple of inches of compost is not as good as a whole pile and turned up their toes ???
Foggy here again this morning, hoping that means it will be another lovely day
Chicky if my front garden is anything to go by, those thin pink worms turn in to mahoosive things as thick as your little finger, they look vile, but i reckon they can really "process" muck! hope your back is feeling better
Same for you Lesley, hope your sore back has eased!
OL, your post repeats because of something to do with the refresh button, sorry thats the extent of my knowledge! Dead nettles do spread but they are easily removed, good for wildlife, i suspect they are good around a veggie bed to bring in the good guys
Wonder if i can spot all the gardeners when im out today, they are the ones limping and unable to bend down right?
