Decided to skip leaf raking, and went for lovely walk up on the moors in the sun.

Was amazed to find a number of Bilberry bushes in flower.

How can you lie there and think of England

  • Hi Verd, guess you got a good view from the front of the queue , once it got light enough!

By the way Chicky's adblocker is great. It even tells me how many have been binned.image

  • Which adblocker is that Woody?  I need one for this new laptop - I've quickly scanned Chicky's posts but can't see one image

I posted earlier today I'm sure but it doesn't seem to be here. Don't know what I said now - I'm sure it was scintillatingimage

Any way after a busy morning, log delivery frost proofing pots should have done ages ago. Was roundabout -2* this morning and it lingered.

Any way phoned a new log supplier (one last year was rubbish) and he delivered within an hour - how good is that? Qualitty of burning will be tested later.

Have raked leaves and OH has mowed them and put them in leaf cage

  • Cheers Edd image  thanks for that - will check it out later - I've been having a shower and a titivate following the leaf raking and now supper needs to be cooked - Toad in the Hole anyone? image

Evening all. Few more barrowloads of gravel shifted after work but very dark now and back sore.

Fidget  imageimage Hope it goes quickly.

Yes KEF - I'm sure Verd enjoyed his frost...it's good to share image

Used to love T in the H Dove. Not had it in years.  Leftover sauce from last night's casserole me tonight - with a baked potato or summat.

I'll have a look and see what you've all been up to while I have a cuppa  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
