I had  a weird deja vu thing with Bodnant when I was doing garden design. The history part involved  lots of research so lots of reference books were required for pix and info on styles, right back to ancient Egypt. I opened a book and there was a section on Bodnant  with a photo of the formal pond, and I had this weird flashback to when I was on holiday as a child.  I  vividly remembered sitting on the edge of that pond. We had gone to Wales and my parents had visited Bodnant. I can't say I'd have ever remembered going there if it hadn't been for that photo. My sister couldn't remember it at all. I was about nine I think. image

Greetings all.  Lovely sunny breezy day ideal for gardening - but sadly I had to go & sing in a concert.  Fun, but the rained-on weeds have apparently doubled in size in my absence.  But looking on the bright side, at least I didn't have to do any dreaded h*****w***k...  image  (Almost as bad as clothes shopping in my book.)  And tomorrow's forecast is good!  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Fg image I shall tell my friend.

Now I shall settle down and watch Deacon Blue in Glasgow - I met some of them once as they sang at the wedding of friends in Gourock.  Long time ago now....

See you in the morning folks - sweet dreams image
