She's probably digging a deep hole in her garden - one about six feet long - her under gardener 'forgot' to water the plants while she was away image

Dove, please dont eat ALL the blackbirds! image

Archie/OL, no big wheel for me, tried it once never again! image

Enjoy your gammon KEF, I used to love that when i was a kid! image

Pauline, your OH is so good! Im very partial to sherry trifle, yum yum image

Yvie, im in wolverhampton, so not far away at all! Your plants will be fine-ive ordered rain tonightimage, thanks for the offer of the anemonies, im not sure i can squeeze any more in, although i do have plans for the front garden, but that wont be for a while yet! I really need to finish all of the other things before i start something else! image

That thing about mozzies makes sense, im short, always cold, rarely sweat, dont move very quickly so dont breathe fast! (chubby, but they musnt be bothered!), my OH is very tall and basically the exact opposite, they swarm to him, especially horse flies, very nasty! image

Hi OL, If you can get  to Kingswinford near Dudley in the West Midlands then you are welcome.  I also go to North Worcester regularly so I could leave some at my daughters for you to pick up.

    Evening all!

House is in a disarray, neighbours sound like they're coming through the wall, feet still ache from a friends hen party (though not as much as my ears), to do list is now beyond huge to the point of super human, reading material means I'll never need the television on again, feet are a mess from a sudden increase in walking / standing up, brain is happier than it has been in quite a long while, and...

I came home to my first two ripe chillies!!!!!

They'll be going in the saucepan in a few minutes with home grown tomatoes, home grown garlic and home grown basil for (one hopes) a wonderful (gluten free) pasta sauce. image

    Evening everyone image

Clari, you sound very happy image

Ive had about half a dozen toms now and another 5-6 nearly ready, including one from the poorly plant. My basil is lasting ages and I think it tastes much stronger than shop bought basil image Will I be able to keep it over winter on the windowsill do you think?

Off for a soak, read and bed soon, trying to restrict blue light at night again as not sleeping so everything to help. I'm going to put some of my fresh lavender in my bath.....not sure if that will do any good to infuse it but I'll soon find out.

Enjoy the rest of your evenings everyone, only 5 days and it's weekend again (well 4 for me image).

    Night xx
