I slipped up yesterday OL, I was a nurse and should have packed you off for an Xray straight away! But sprains often hurt more than breaks. I went shopping with a broken ankle, but son pushed the trolley with me standing on it! We were going on holiday, but Doc gave me a plastic splint so I could go in the sea.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
morning all, beautiful here too, paddling pool dayu i think, o.l hope ankle ok, clari enjoy your day telling your laptop off, pauline i'm south yorkshire too, dove just about to look at article while one rolling on playmat and other watching bananas in pyjamas on screen next to me, got 15 mins before i order us all outside to enjoy summer!have a good day everyone bfn
Not the best start to my holiday, had a bit of left over work to finish at home this weekend. Went to sign in to discover that neither my laptop nor OH's would allow me to connect to the work portal so I had to get up early and go into work to finish it off Still, all done now And it'll be good practice for the early start I have tomorrow as am off for a couple of days with a friend
Hope the salt miners have a good day.
Mine is quite busy, am off to lunch with Ma Panda, and then we are visiting the Chelmsford Cathedral Centenary Flower festival Then back home, then out for dinner with friends And at some point I have to pack
At least the sun is shining and the breeze is cool
Hi, been to the hospital and seen very quickly, x-ray done and thankfully nothing is broken, so although it is hurting a lot at least I can stop worrying about it being broken. It is just sprained with quite a lot of tissue damage which is why it is so swollen.
Just having a cup of tea now and resting it as advised.
Hmmmmm, why do i have a feeling that isn't going to happen? I think I was more worried because it's so close to hols and also because I wouldn't be able to do any exercise, I'm hoping later in the week I can do some swimming and walk the dogs at least, but no thighs, bums and tums for me tonight (I might be secretly pleased about that after being in agony after it for days last week LOL)

Good news OL.
Very painful but at least you will be OK for your hols. Get the family to run after you for a change

You know it makes sense. Ice in a G&T or Pimms helps too. Muscle relaxant. Ask punkdoc. Where is punkdoc?
