Rather moist here but we're off to the national coal mining museum today as a treat so I don't mind everything getting a good wash down. It was 14'C when I got home from work last night (around midnight) - no wonder my strawberries are flowering!
Morning all - in bed with a bucket of tea at the moment - looks a bit wet & windy outside. Have a nice day at the museum Clari. My OH was a miner many moons ago so I've done a few coal based days out including the excellent Big Pit in Sth Wales. I'd like to know how good the National is.
For some reason my poor puddy tat seems terrified of me this morning & is not himself at all - think 'something' must have happened last night - maybe the fireworks - maybe the new cats who've moved in next door but one. Hope I get to the bottom of it soon.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Topbird, was your puss-cat out at about 6.15 this morning - if so there was a multiple cat-fight around our bins - very noisy, lots of squawks and squeals - I know you're a bit of a distance from us, but if she ran very fast ............
But seriously, you're probably right - new cats and some territorial behaviour. Hope she's feeling better soon and that the new pecking order is quickly established to everyone's liking.
Verdun, hope everyone enjoys Spike's visit Pa really misses the company of a dog - when he's well enough for us to take him out for a push the highlights are always a meeting with a dog, and he spends his days watching dogs being walked on The Common outside his window - I wish Bro would take one of his labs to visit more often - he says he can't because The Lovely Home has a resident cat, but Bro's dogs are very well trained and expensive gun dogs - very controllable.
I've seriously contemplated getting a dog myself so that I could take it to visit Pa - it would give him so much pleasure - but OH gets asthma in households where there are dogs. Don't want him to have to move out!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Morning all. Is it good strong Yorkshire tea KEF? Marvellous
Chilly today and loads of rain overnight but hopefully will dry up enough to do summat outdoors.
Nice pumpkin David
Glad you had a lovely holiday fidget - the pix were terrific. Bet it seems like ages ago now.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all
Still in bed but wide awake thinking about my plans for the week as I have the week off
It doesn't look as nice as yesterday but no rain yet
Morning all.
Going out to lunch today with dentist son.
Rained in the night - not forecast.
Hope your cat gets back to normal soon, Topbird.
