Oh dear, afternoon already. I have 2 of the granchildren today but I wrapped them up and they did spend most of the morning outside. They helped me pick up twigs from under the trees and then played in the garden. I managed to get more of the lawn mowed so it is a bit more level for them and I cleaned the slides for them.
Bekkie from what I can remember it does take the crambe several years to flower growing from a seedling. It is huge, the leaves are the size of rhubarb leaves.
Woops , young grandson has passed out, must have been all that fresh air. He will have to have his dinner later now. His sister is tucking into hers.
Now playing the dark threatening cloud verses the four loads of washing on the line While puppy insists on cuddles for nap time. He's a bit too big for a lap dog!
Matty - Reggie is 24kg and growing. I may have "more than ample thighs" but he's not exactly gentle on the bladder when he tries to squash himself on.
Burnt my arm on the oven getting some bread out. After cooling it I put aloe vera guts on the wound. Is there anything I should now put on the wound of the aloe vera to help the plant heal?
Took the loppers out with me when i let the dog out on the grass out the front, thought i would have 5 min lopping while he mooched about...3 or so hours later ive dug out 4 trees, just trying to compose myself before himself gets home or i will be in for an almighty telling off!
LP, sorry to hear you and OH are so poorly! I hope you both feel better soon, im sure the visit was worth it
Sounds like youve had a good time BL, not sure i would like french food! but it was really nice of them to look after the little ones like that
Hosta, how lucky are you to have all that help, even if you have to dress up like poldark for it!
Housework SGL.....nooooo! Im sure theres something else you could do
Winter, not supprised you are tired sweetheart, read your posts from the last few weeks...you NEVER stop! You must need that lie in
Clari, hope you get things sorted at work, but in the mean time enjoy your garden, i wouldnt stress too much about where everything will go, theres not much that cant be moved with a bit of effort
Fritt, youve got a beautiful garden and what looks to be a beautiful location, nothing like a bit of fresh air to tire us all out that crambe sounds fab, i rather like large plants
All dogs seem to think they are lap dogs Clari, ive got moms two coming to stay tomortow til saturday, that will be fun!
Pdoc, it must feel good to get rid of all the clutter
Matty, sorry youre ferling pants! If you dont feel like moving, then dont! Hope you feel better soon
Bekkie you can't behave yourself for two minutes. Hope you don't suffer too much for it later. I've spent hours in the garden yesterday and again today and the weather is just right for it but my body won't do any more. At least it's tidier and most of the weeds have gone. Just need to start dividing some plants and put my obelisk in.
Lovely space there for the grandchildren to run about Frit
Feeling sorry for the poorly folk. Hope things improve soon LilyP and Matty.
it's very rare for Jekka to try being a lapdog. She is quite independent and takes herself off to bed when she's tired. Ooh, just remembered the little s-d was running around the garden yesterday with a rooted rose cutting in her mouth, pot and soil flying about.

Clari I'm glad I haven't any washing out today, hubby is dungspreading!
Hello
Anti-biotics here as well now
Don't feel like doing anything that involves moving away from where I am!
Phew! pleased I kept that quiet - skip on our drive as well, but it's only a mini one.
Realised I haven't started off my begonias and dahlias - not even unwrapped them from winter storage - won't happen today either
My dog used to think he was a lap dog as well - he was quite large!!

Looks lovely Fritillary
Well done Pdoc - I chucked out loadsa old text books and work stuff etc yesterday - must be that time of year
Washing dry, folded and put by rad in study to air. House gleaming. Halo polished
Poor OH had to go in to work as a colleague is off with food poisoning - he usually has Mondays off - so the trip to the tip will have to wait.
