Yes, it's worse than anything I've ever experienced especially without pain relief (my second), but I would do it all again and although it's the worse pain it's also the best....if that makes sense?? Nothing beats holding that baby that you've made in your arms, nothing at all ever in the whole world And the pain doesn't last long and then it's forgotten, for me anyway, no lasting pain.
Anyway, I've just realised why I'm giddy.....this time in two weeks we will be ready to go to Carfest North on Friday morning and I can't wait, camping for three nights with our bestest mates and my 3 boys Chris Evans, lots of classic cars and fantastic music, possibly with a few glasses of Pimms thrown in
Yes its the worse pain ever ever ever. I can still remember it! But as OL says worth every minute (and it took hours!) There's nothing like holding your baby for the first time, and all the other firsts too. And there's nothing, absolutely nothing at all that I've ever done thats better than being a mum.
Im with you Edd, ive had a kidney stone which i have been reliably informed is very like labour, no thanks, not again. Although i did enjoy the morphiene, you dont get that with babies!
Looks like we had rain last night, could be wrong as eyes not quite working yet!a
Baby talk again? Not looked back but was it Lizzie and her new addition that kicked this conversation off? My tiny man cheated me of labour, strangely always regretted not going through it, he was only 2lb 10oz and docs said he needs 'out' but was too weak for labour, just a bloke really on a man flu day (togh as old boots ).

No, you get pethidene which is very like morphine and gives me some sympathy with addicts. Amazing stuff.
Morning Bekkie
Missed a lot of chat on here last night. All I wanted was a bath and bed to ease my aching muscles.
Lizzie - Anna looks gorgeous
Lots of baby talk too. I'm with you bekkie, the worst pain I had was with a kidney infection before I had children. They were a close second though
Agree with lily - your boys are always your babies - mine are 31 and 33 - it's about time they b****y well grew up

Doing a Dove this morning and getting my hair done.
