Fairy - Elka is like tete a tete - so will go towards the front, with Thalia nearer the back. will keep them well away from the yellow ones - separate bed, round a corner. Don't want them mixing with the hoi polloi
chicky I looked it up - very pretty. I don't have any of the small daffs here so perhaps when I'm more organised next year I could put a few in. I've had Minnow before but most of the little ones tend to be brighter in colour, and while I don't mind that in early spring when they flower, I like all my later ones to be creamy or white. Not that I'm demanding or anything...
I have one called Tresamble which is ivory coloured but a bit like the standard daff in form. I like Cheerfulness - I have loads of them.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all You have all beat me today, I just couldn't go to sleep last night!
Hope you all have good days and will catch up proper later
Going to mums for dinner as its my sister and nieces birthdays
Need to plant up window box for sister first! I've got her all miniature daffs, Iris, and crocus in creamy yellows and have blue and violas for the top
Your window box sounds nice Beaus and all the talk of daffodils has made me long for spring now. It really is whipping up out there. I've just been to SM for the things I forgot for lunch and the trolley was blowing away from me.
The dog really doesn't seem to mind the wind at all unless it's accompanied by rain. She detests getting wet.

You would need to tie a couple of sandbags to your ankles here!

Not seen Elka but Thalia is lovely chicky. I've got mainly white daffs - Silver Chimes is another nice one. They will definitely look sophisticated
