Hi Everyone, El Scorchio in Worcester today - Jack Reacher is also lurking in my kindle waiting for me to unleash him.  Daughters plaster came off today and her foot is now encased in a lovely black boot ready for her hols.  Ive been rescuing her hanging baskets today, they are coming on holiday to my house while she is on her hols for three weeks.   Verdun, you are right to get mum out of hospital as soon as you can.  My mum improved dramatically when she moved on to a local care home, I know they do their best but nurses just dont have the time to raise spirits and encourage the elderly anymore.  OL quite like the idea of growing an apple tree from a pip how long do you think it will be before you can harvest apples from it.

Went to Spetchley Gardens today its only 10 minutes from my daughters.  Ill post some piccies on the visited gardens threads.  Off to buy granddaughter her first pair of shoes tomorrow if the thunder storms allow.

Bekkie I know how you feel re those biscuits I have the same relationship with Foxes chocolate shortcake rings, once opened I cant rest until the pack is empty - I keep telling myself that 'nothing tastes as good as thin' but it makes not a scrap of difference.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
