White flowers lily - great for a shadier spot if it's dampish image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Chicky - missed your earlier question about crab apples.  I bought a "Jelly King" for my daughter, who specifically wanted one which was good for jelly making.  Large white flowers, upright habit, red-flushed round fruit which is biggish (for a crab).

If you want something dramatic, "Harry Baker" has exceptionally large pink flowers, plum-coloured leaves, and bright red largish fruit.  Said to make the best flavoured jelly of all, but I couldn't get hold of one when I wanted it.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Glad you had a good day, Chicky. I love Wisley, but not easy to get there. We have a flat in Eastbourne for when we are in the UK, belongs to OH's daughter really, but last time we went to Wisley there was an accident on the M25 and it took 3 hours.

Did fish and chips tonight, at last my batter is improving. OH loves it and the French don't sell fish and chips and the fish is bread crumbed, not battered, in the supermarket.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'm going to get my bulbs in GG (as per post above) And I might just get the rest of the tidying up done and the veg patch weeding and the sprouts firmed in (Oooh yes I forgot to say I have sprouts image), obviously that will all take longer than an hour but I will do my best .........
