Lesley, I'm not actually that bad, I keep it there or in my bag because sometimes the toilets I go in it's actually better to use that than use their sinks.....urghhhh image I hate stickiness though, can't stand things being sticky!!

  • Progress report on new Terrace: area completely cleared, and looking grand. Even the machine had problems with the foliage. Not sure how I would have fared had I tried to keep it looking good.image

6 Ib of blackcurrants picked, washed, jammed. I strained some, to make blackcurrant syrup. I thought it could go on ice cream.  This is because lodger next door was offered some jam,but turned it down because it has seeds in it.(after she had asked me what I used to make blackcurrant jam...image).

Some of MIL's treasures sold at auction today. I was watching online between jammimg.  10 lots submitted, 2 lots missing, 3 unsold, 5 sold at less than estimate..  Maybe we'll get dinner out of it....

More blackcurrants to pick.. No more jam, I've got too much, I think these will be frozen for pies.  Watering to do... still no rain here.image

I've got the sprinkler on the Shady Bank - I mowed the lawns but couldn't do the edges in the back garden because they were full of frogs

     Isn't he just beautiful!

When I was setting up the sprinkler I noticed that Hissing Sid was in the pond, so no wonder all the frogs were on the lawn. image
