Have just shared tart tatin with neighbour. Had to cook it for much longer than the recipe and also finish it off again, after turning it out, to get that treacly touch. But we enjoyed it. Will make some tweaks for the Show.
Re agapanthus the experts are divided over whether to keep them crowded or not. My views are changing. My large pots with 7 plants in each, which are now 7-8 years old are flowering less this year. Have they become too crowded?
Lol star gaze..... Btw queen mum white agapantus and enigma are lovely .... I'm well enamoured lol just noticed my pink blooey Southern belle echinacea is out!!!! Yey
Evening all. Just in from mines, and pilates. Need to start work at 7.30 tomorrow - which means a 5.30am start, so will say my good mornings now too, as i won't have time for a morning browse.
Anna is such a pretty name Tomato Tarte Tatin with treacly bits sounds like a winner to me Love agapanthus too. I keep all mine in ordinary plastic pots so i can bring them into the dry in winter - so instead of planting things in with them I mix them up with my other pots. Most of mine are really dark blue (nearly all called midnight-something-or-other), apart from 2 new ones specially for my niece called Megans Mauve Only just starting to flower, and will still be there at end of August. I feed mine tomato food - maybe thats wrong
Was going for a very early night but saw nut's blackbird nestlings and couldn't resist joining in. I had an outpatient appointment today and had sedation so am very tired but think everything went well.
I have aa new agapanthus too and am wondering whether to sink it into the border in a pot so that I can move it for the winter. Lots going on today - Dove flycatching, WW's practice baking, OL car hunting and Bekkie at the bicccies again
Evening everyone Lily, missed JB, was in the shower and pottering like I do!
Been to Thighs bums and tums tonight for the first time......don't think I'll be able to move tomorrow
Lily, a 3 series I think, the X5 is his ultimate goal in a few years time (all being well) but for now we need to try and be sensible
5.30 start Chicky, I don't envy you that although we'll be up at 6.25 for morning swim (with a big maybe in that tonight....it depends if I can move my legs LOL).
Right, off for a quick mooch then Corrie catch up and early-ish night with my book. xx
I could give the gym up if they stopped selling those flippin biccies!
Hope your ok Lesley x, whenever anyone has a procedure in the dept my mom works in, you get to spend the rest of the day like a queen/princess! Eat anything you want and NO housework
Anyone else ever get flies in their eyes? Happens to me all the time, OH mate reckons its all the mascara!

OOps I fed my Mum's agapanthus with tomato food a few weeks back, but it is now flowering, it is also pot bound.
Good luck Woody.
