Hello all image Well the 'watch this space' looks just as it did this morning, apart from the fences have been painted and the concrete cleaned.  It got windier in Tracey Newbie land so didn't want to risk doing the GH.

But still had a busy and productive day, cut back (a bit) my Jasmine, Climbing Rose and lavender. Made a little seed bed next to my veg patch and sowed Candy Tuft (I love that, so simple and pretty), weeded and turned over ALL my veg patch and spread BF&B all over it and then weeded the front garden and moved some snowdrops.  All in all a good day, even if I still have no GH.  OH has washed and cleaned both cars though so doesn't need to do that tomorrow and has promised that we can get in done tomorrow. image

Sounds like everyone else has had a good day too lovely Hellebore baby KEF, FB I can empathise as that is partly why no GH construction today, although I don't actually mind watching the men imageimage

I'm watching GW tonight, think we are having take away treat and definitely Saturday night wine time soon image

Gosh such wind! I thought I was going to loose my washing line! Green house tidied up, front garden hacked around a bit more, chilli willies all potted up, last nights hot cross buns a success (phew!) ...

Back complaining so its sofa time for a while!

Evening all. Good day here - very sunny and warm. We finally managed to get the lawn mown and edged the borders, which make them look so much neater. Another load of seeds down - think we will be busy when they are are a little bit bigger.

Kef- lovely Pulsatilla and baby Helleboreimage

Tracey - fingers crossed for a calmer day tomorrow so you can put up your GH.

Dove- sounds like you had a productive day too. Sunflowers are lovely. We have ours in the GH.

Watching GW lasty night was saddened to see MD having to dig up the Box hedging due to Box blight. Must be heart breaking image

Chinese ordered and a nice Bordeaux chilling, can't remember the last time I had Chinese take away imageimage I think I've earned it today image Come on France!!!

  • Evening all, I too thought it was very poignant and sad for md. Like he says we have links to the plants. My hellebores in the woods were from crocus where at 2 ( ok only a year ago) my lo had such fun splashing in muddy puddles she was black and soaked an made everyone laugh.... The jasmine outside my patio was a twig from a friend who sadly died and other plants have meaning to so to loose them must be heart breaking... Been a stunner of a day here planted the clematis sieboldii in the woods we will see if the other stump comes to life!!! Well lo is kicking off so mummy is needed..... Laters peeps

Where do I start? I've only been gone a few hours, me thinks a list & hope I don't miss anyone.

Fidget Brugmansia looking well alive, have a place ready for it in garden. Don't do too much or you'll wreck yourself, voice of a silly billy here. Enjoy SB mine is chilling.

Andy blowing bad now but wasn't too bad for shed roof, says me who made the teaimage

Panda only answer is a shrinking lawn...if I got all I wanted there wouldn't be any green stuff, then where would twirly washing thing go image could just dig a hole and bury dirty clothes, hey how's that for re-cyclingimage

Cleo13 hope you got your grass cut. image

Allium doing the edges always makes lawns ( and my green stuff) look so much bettter. Can't remember ever doing them this early, last year they were coverd in snow.

Tracey, sad you haven't got GH erected, it will happen, hopefully tomoz. Hugs I know you will be a bit sad but when it's up you'll be so thrilled . image

Clari, tittering like a 10 yrs old, Chilli Willies . Are Dave doing okay? Sewing mine tomoz' earlier than I said, but have got sewing fever.

MrsGarden, hope guests have behaved themselves and appreciated your lovely garden. Hope Rose Voucher was well received.

Might not be back tonight so have a "gud un"

Anyone know what curry I should order?  Thankfully Archie is on jollies otherwise it would be a suggestion for a face melting one.

Pdoc..hope you are okay ..if in dog house I'll come & rescue you.( When OH goes to work on Monday image)

Verdun guess it's been sunny in your parts, so been a bust chap.
