Bekkie that sounds like my godmothers old dog - I used to have to physically carry it out the house when I let it out in the afternoon. If it was grey / windy / wet / potentially any danger of it being moist out the dog didn't want to know and would rather stay on the sofa!

I've not been happy with this place for a while now, I know work is very rarely "perfect" but I left a pretty damn awesome job to be with my partner so I know good jobs are out there. Unfortunately the job I /really really/ want they can't afford to pay me until they get some more money in. The role of the job? Getting the money and visitors in! What an awful catch 22 to be in.

I'm going to discuss with my partner whether we can afford for me to go part time in some menial job (probably not) so that I can work there part time for six months free of charge under the agreement that if I prove capable of getting the funds flowing they'll then employ me full time. We'll see. Unfortunately having just brought a house and new (to me) car my savings pot is rather depleted else I'd have considered offering them three months free full time work to show them what I'm capable of and to get the money at least starting to roll in so that they'd be then able to pay me.

Shame how life works out! Now where's that large lottery win...

Thanks for the advice Dove and Clari, I think you are both right so will follow all advice and am off shopping for Selenium, Rum and ice cream, not sure which order to take then in yet image KEF, I think you are right, I can go for ages without being I'll at all and then burn myself out and can't shake any tiny bug I get!! Note to self to slow down......and don't let my sister ever get married again (although I would have either day itself again tomorrow!!).

Clari, in return for your invaluable advice re curing me, I will send lots of positive vibes your way and hope that everything works out for you.

Bekkie, am jealous of your walk, mine will get 3-4 miles today but no picnic.....have you ever tried having a picnic with 2 Beagles image My eldest needs a practise walk for his DoE at weekend so we may go on a 10-15 miler then image

Right, best get some more work done, I've done loads today image

Ha ha, mine wouldn't move last night Bekkie after 4 miles and a swim, did the Beagle not steal your picnic?

Are you making full veggie chilli or Quorn veggie chillie? New quite often have Quorn chillie, we prefer it to meat chilli now image Lots of carrot, celery and onion in it before adding the Quorn, yum image

I used a whole bag of mince, a can of sweet corn, a can of kidney beans, half a green pepper and most of an onion, along with a jar of sauce. i didnt know to put celery, carrot etc in, i hope its at least edible-ive made enough to feed about 10 people!
