Woody - that's just cruel. image that you are.

Yvie are you auditioning for the next wonderwoman movie (if there is one)?  Too much for me in one day.  You'll sleep tonight - unless you are haunted by squirrelsimage

I've got new for you Lesley, it was too much for me.  However, the two large glasses of Marlborough Estate will help me forget about the squirrels, as will the large bag of chocolate buttons that hubby hid behind the bread bin before he went in the bath.

Woody you are not going to lead me astray, I need to burn off all the chocolate button calories so tomorrow I will be mostly aerating.

Busy days for allimage.  Had a good bike ride - nice and quiet on the lanes we use - but definitely the leaves are now on the turn.

Fairy - my new sedum is Mr Goodbud - took some cuttings today.  It complements some new japanese anemones (that also sneaked their way in to my trolley) beautifully, so will plant them up together tomorrow.

Also treated myself to a bluebird hibiscus - to make up for the disappointment of waiting 4 years only to find the one i planted was pinkimage.  I made sure this one had flowers on, so no mix up this time.  A planting session is required 2moz.

Evening! Just nipping by. I've been sat looking at garlic to plant this autumn and I can distinctly remember thinking "oh I must try those!"

Blasted if I can remember what those are though! image

  • At Malvern I bought some Helianthus Lemon Queen, with single flowers. Alongside there were some double flowered tall yellow plants with similar leaves also labelled " Lemon Queen" I bought these too. The clueless staff on the stand tried to persuade me these 2 were one and the same!!

A bit of research And I think I have "Loddon Gold".... close....

I also found a most wonderful Tulip.... Havran... google and have a look....
