That quiche sounds lovely Dove, do yellow courgettes taste much different to green ones or do they just add colour? I might try some of those next year
I love the look of your food Dove. How's a person meant to diet with so many temptations Talking of temptations - will Verdun weaken and stop at his favourite nursery?
There was also Follyfoot. The lightning tree and all that. What was the one with the white horses - "on white horses let me ride away to a land ......."
Hope your throat improves soon OL. What about Skippy - he wasn't a horse either
How about My Mother the Car .."A 1928 (?) Porter that's my mother dear she helps me through everything I do......." Seem to recall the bloke bending down talking to the front grill.

OL maybe you are run down you've had a lot on recently mental stress can show as physical illness
Loved Champion and any programme about horses when I was a child. Only recently saw a film of Black Beauty, made me cry.
Podded rather large broad beans yesterday, now my nails are black and it won't come off. Put nail varnish on to hide it, but it took ages to dry and now it's all smudged. Must have been a cheap and nasty one, pretty colour though.
Going to hypermarket, and the GC to buy a pot the for the impulse buy of Lady Emma Hamilton when I was at David Austin's. No room for her.

Funny how you can always squeeze in just one more rose you can't do without isn't it Lizzie Ages since I wore nail varnish. It only ever lasts a day if I'm lucky.
You need more ice cream and rum on that throat OL. The ice cream will soothe the pain and line the stomach, the rum get rid of any nasties if its an infection.
Spent all evening yesterday cleaning a bouncy castle that belongs to the museum on the drive. Sponge brillo pads and Swargea gel to the rescue! I can assure you you really don't want to know how disgustingly dirty it was. Still more to do but we'll hopefully get that done tonight.
His family are coming over on Sunday. I really ought get the house cleaned and garden tidied up a bit more - I know grandma will be on the hunt for dust and weeds (of which we have plenty!)
