Matty - so pleased for you that you have no immediate problems with your eyes.
Panda - we have a friend who is registered blind and has a daughter (same age as your friend) who has had an eye removed and the other eye is iffy. It's really hard for them. I feel so sorry for your friend. Quite an adjustment. Hugs for them.
Thanks Lesley When he had a hope of regaining is sight in one eye he was dealing with his blindness quite well, even going on a long haul flight on his own! Not sure how well he is doing now he knows it is never coming back
Good luck tomorrow Gg. Main man has to be impressed. Ask him about water
Thanks Pauline - I was thinking about a stylus but I have a son with learning difficulties (33 years old) and he wants to get me one for Ch.......) Hope he doesn't forget
Verdun - I really hope that you are (won't say happy) content with the choice of home for your Mum and that it's not too far away from you. Hugs. (I really am female and married - two children and all that) Hugs again.
Panda - He will adjust - it will have been at the back of his mind for so long, but now it's a fact. It will take time but they must get as much help as they can for all the family to cope. Hugs for him, his family and you.
If you are reading this Panda - it's past your bedtime
Hi everyone Had a quick skim read back so. I hope I don't miss anyone, apologies if I do
Sorry to hear so many parents, O/Hs and people are poorly or having difficulties.......hugs to all those that need/want them and cakes for anyone that would rather have cake, thinking of you all even though I'm not about.
Well, week 1 is nearly over and an eventful week it has been, but the good news is today's and tomorrow's sales are more than last weeks were and today's is the highest it is has been for over 6 weeks (the previous owner gave up we think)...... Result
Anyway, off now, glass of wine and bed. Night all xx
I forgot to say...Matty, do you like chutney? I made a lovely pear and walnut chutney last year and could let you have the recipe if you want. Never made pear jam.
Have now potted up 350 little plants, mostly pansies and violas, 60 forget-me-nots left to do. Tomorrow we are going out to a wedding anniversary lunch. Must get on with shifting manure and cutting back the over plants, before the 2 men come to inspect my garden for opening next year for cancer charities. A new scheme in France, like the NGS.
Bedtime, just woke up having fallen asleep on the sofa.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
