Hello folks - I'm back after a lovely but tiring day.

We went out to the coast to Orford and walked along the riverbank towards Orford Ness.  It was a beautiful day and the sea lavender was out all along the saltmarsh along the riverside - DD braved the mud to pick me some samphire for supper tomorrow image

The sea lavender was gorgeous.  Afraid the pics are a bit fuzzy - the light was so bright it was hard to see to get the focus right image

Poor Yviestevie.  Sounds as though you are really going to have your work cut out. Do you really think it will only be a couple of daysimage

On the way there we came upon this just after it had happened  http://www.eadt.co.uk/news/video_a_lorry_has_overturned_on_the_a12_in_woodbridge_spilling_21_tonnes_of_chicken_litter_onto_the_road_1_3666445

A member of the public had helped get the driver out and he didn't appear too badly hurt thank goodness; the police were just arriving on scene so we got out of the way and left them to it.

Still one heck of a mess and the main road was closed northbound when we returned after our picnic - diesel and chicken manure - an unpleasant mixture image
