Grass cut and a bit of a general tidy in the garden.

This is the large bale of straw I brought, from the allotment shop - weighs a lot and it is about 2" shorter than my shoulders brought it to mix in with the horse manure as it is too wet

Did I really read that panda is pegging a sofa on to the washing line?

Was a busy day. Shifted manure, then OH wanted the tractor (garden one) and trailer so I sprayed the brambles in a paddock that is trying to turn back into forest. They've been cut several times, including by local farmer. Ground is very rocky, but horses' summer shelter is in that paddock and they need access to it. OH is having a clear out of a shrub bed that is past it's sell by date, also full of brambles. They will be dug out. Then I must think of which new shrubs I want and tell all my children before Christmas image
