Hi, @Pat E. It’s a noisy night here! I’ve woken at 4am and the wind is howling in the trees. It must be in a different direction as it’s not usually so ā€˜howly’! A bit scary. I’m sure our neighbour must be awake worrying, having had trees down on three separate occasions recently. It rained all day yesterday, pattering against the windows, and the patio soakaway couldn’t cope.Ā
I can tell you we are getting really fed up with it. On our last trip into town, I nearly treated myself to a jigsaw puzzle, but decided I’d wait until my birthday next month, as I’ve asked the children for a couple I liked the look of. Now I’m wishing I’d bought one to be going on with. Something nice and peaceful to stop me getting bored and agitated! Not that I don’t have a massive backlog of DIY and housework to tackle, but it’s not the same!Ā
Ill try to get back to sleep for another couple of hours. Have a peaceful day

Hello Ergates. The jig saw puzzles that I do every day are called ā€œjigsaw planetā€ and they’re free on my iPad. I’ve begun to have favourite ones that I always seek out first. I particularly like train photos and flowers, but there are many more subjects. Ā Some of our Forkers use it too. šŸ˜

Hope you will sleep a bit more. @Ergates. Maybe you should have bought that puzzle if you could afford to do so.

I often feel that life is slipping away and that I am not taking advantage of the good things I have. I am not capable of "carpe diem". To top all up I have this wretched scan on Friday, been on a diet for 10 days so at every meal time there's a reminder. It's all kicking off today with the first Thyrogen injection.Ā

    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
    Hope everyone’s had a restful night.Ā
its light at Cromer now @coccinella  … and it looks jolly windy, and a very high tide is scouring the foot of the East Runton cliffs. There’s more gorgeous sea view

  • Morning all,

Sorry to hear you're feeling on top form @coccinella, it can be tricky sometimes to find the positives in life. Ever onwards is my go expression.Ā

This is my view from the breakfast room, great to have snow but I hope it clears up a bit so we'll actually be able to see where we're going. šŸ˜„

Have a good day all, ever onwards!Ā
