I hope they’re getting some money back @floralies Take it steady today … don’t overdo it!
I read of scientists finding all sorts of uses for snail slime etc. … shame they haven’t found a use for human slime yet … I seem to be manufacturing copious amounts 🙄 (sorry if that’s too much information 😂)!

Good morning all. I too am heading to the motherland. My besty mate from school is coming down from Scotland on the 21st of March for a few days then we're driving back to his place for a few days and I'll be visiting my younger daughter. I'll get to meet my granddaughter. On the way home, I'll go via Kent and see my elder daughter and family.
Morning all, just started drizzling here which is a pity as I had hoped to get outside and potter. Have put some washing on which will have to go in the tumble dryer by the looks of it. I don't think I've ever used fabric softener, with the hard water around here our pipes get clogged up all on their own. Having said that, when we had the boiler replaced last year, the installer put on a special gadget (can't remember what he called it) to reduce scale on pipes, let's hope it works.
Unfortunately poorly brother was rushed into A&E again late last night, couldn't stop vomiting, not a good sign. His wife couldn't stay with him all night as she is not well herself with a bad chest infection so her son took her home in the early hours. I'm waiting for an update from my sister.
I find a daily anti-histamine helps to dry up my nose @Dovefromabove, don't know whether that might help?
Have a good journey @punkdoc, a break plus family get together will do you both a power of good.
Just had an update, brother now stable and has been moved onto a ward for monitoring. Sister and her partner is taking SIL in to see him at 1 pm (not allowed any sooner). SIL needs a wheelchair to go any distance and my sister can't manage that on her own so her partner has taken another day off from work to help out. He's a star and so is his company, they allow staff 'compassionate leave'.
Blustery but lighter although no sun and the bit of rain has stopped. The wind is cold but not bitter.
Good news @Lizzie27 and I hope it gets better after 1pm and the visit. Good to have other authors to look out for - thank you @punkdoc Have a good trip up Norf - you too @Hostafan1 Hope your vertigo is under control @floralies Not a pleasant feeling!
I hope everyone has a pleasant afternoon and evening.
Good afternoon everyone, went to Capel Manor today, first time since before Christmas. A few changes they have finally taken down two ugly pine trees at the back of the Japanese garden, one had a large branch fall off a couple of winters ago, the other was overhanging a glass rooved corridor, the senior gardener I work with has been trying to get them taken out for the past 5years to my knowledge.
A bit of consternation here, just after I got home a neighbours son was robbed at knife point, outside their own house about 3doors up from us. Police have come neighbours all checking doorbell footage, seems two people in a certain car has been spotted loitering off and on recently in the area. All a bit worrying.
On a lighter note @Dovefromabove, and @WonkyWomble plus others in your area, you might want to glam up! An item on the radio this morning said they are looking to make more feature films in the Norfolk area and they want locals to take part 😁
