    Putting one’s fingers in one’s ears and shouting LALALALALALALALA makes it all go away. Ask any three year old.

    I’m not long for this world, thank god. And I hope there’s no such thing as reincarnation. Would hate to find myself back here like Groundhog Day.

    No, I'm not a reincarnationist either. Although I think we probably knew each other in a former 'incarnation' on this forum! 
    As for an 'afterlife', well, I just creatively and consistently imagine a perfect place for me, and expect to spend eternity there.  It's so nice I almost can't wait to get there.  And if my Platonic creation fails to deliver, well, I'll be none the wiser!  Win-win.

    I hadn’t noticed the extra slippage because I have this thread bookmarked. I wonder how many pages are in a forum? That sounds like a pub quiz question. Or in Buckingham palace’s day to day admin it might be how many pages are in a quorum.

    I wish you luck with your sunny garden in eternity. I’d just be snarling at the snails for millennia. I think putting one’s fingers in an electric socket might be the answer. Go out with a bang.

    Cause a 'shorting' of the power to your nearby town/village.  Yep, good idea!
    Can fingers actually fit into an electric socket?  Just  trying to be practical...you've got to think these things through.
