I think we have now had enough time to have formed an opinion about the new forum regime. What are your views?

Do you mean the banning of politics?

I miss several of the members who have left, they brought a certain edge to the forum.

It is generally more dull and missing some of the more interesting gardening discussions, just the same few posters, who plant the same few plants, whatever the question they are answering.

I find I am using instagram far more often for proper gardening stuff, and here just to keep up with friends.

And yes, I do miss the politics.
How can you lie there and think of England

It feels less lively to me, maybe a  little bit repressed. Perhaps this period of adjustment will be temporary. January is a bit flat generally I suppose.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus

@Fire why did you ask me a question when you have me on 'ignore'?

I think it's always less lively in winter.

I agree. The very nature of gardening means this is a quiet time of year, mostly planning, sorting out the seed tin etc.
Mind you, l have been out pottering around this morning, and feel better for it.
