Morning all. Bitterly cold outside but we have to walk to paper shop this morning as car has been picked up early.( 8.10 instead of 10.30!). So will get well wrapped up and hope the knees hold out.
Debs, a wonderful weekend is looking and I know you will have the most wonderful time.To coin a phrase…..you will 🙂have a blast…..Enjoy.
Biglad, oh my, you left the tax return a bit late ……still, done for another year now.
SHL, I read  that too about pharmacies, how on earth are they going to cope? Methinks very badly.☹️

2 mins to midnight was my closest shave @Songbird-2 :D It's taking less time each year as the bits I need to fill in reduce but I do like a 'late run'! Turns out I owe them £2 for 2022-2023 - no wonder the UK's economy is in a mess without that contribution!!!

I'm baffled as to how you can get that kind of call at that time @Ladybird4 - what a naff day ensued :o

@biglad, ah, so you’re the reason for the economical crisis!😂😂😂 Please, pay your dues so that we can all return to normal.😉😂

We have just returned from a two mile hike to shop and back. ( such a lot of dog walkers about). My hip is protesting madly and Oh’s calves are going into a decline. Gawd…..

A late good morning to everyone. It started out nice and bright but is clouding over now.

Goodness me @Ladybird4, that was the kind of excitement you can well do without. What a costly mistake by the pharmacist, too, what with organising an ambulance for you and putting you through lots of tests which turned out to be unnecessary. On the other hand, it’s better to be safe than sorry, I suppose.

Well, the funeral of my SiL was very good (as far as these things can be, of course). The celebrant was excellent.

Turns out the taxman owed me more than £2 for 2021-2022 @Songbird-2, so I'm afraid that I claimed some back instead! :D

@Red maple sad time for all at your SIL funeral. I do hope you are ok.
@Biglad, that’s not going to do much for the economy getting better!😳😂😂

I’m going to have to pot on ( to a bigger pot) eight more Broad bean plants. There are masses of roots coming out of the bottom of the pot. They will be a few feet tall at this rate by the time the soil warms up😬

Naff day Number 2. Doc rang. Hospital made errors I had to go and have another blood test 3rd day running (my left arm is empty - those of you 'young' enough to remember the Tony Hancock sketch will relate to this.) I think I have got them stumped. I'll update as and when I know anything so watch this space.
Hazel, watch those joints. You don't want any injuries before the new gardening season. Are you dropping hints that you may be zooming off to the GC to get some more pots??
@Biglad - it must have been nice to find out that you were owed money! Hope it was a substantial sum after you coughed up the £2!
@Red maple, it is amazing how having a good celebrant can change a very sombre occasion into one with more positivity. Thoughts are with you and your family.
