Marolena can you recommend an "in your face" orange shrub rose?  Thanks in advance.

Scabious 'Perfecta Blue'.. a stalwart of a hot dry border..

It's so beautiful. I have tried so many types of scabious but they always get mildew. I've kind of given up.

Yes, I can give you 3..

    1. Fragrant Cloud... some say it's orange/red but it's full on orange to my eyes.. very strong scent will blow you away..  a hybrid tea type.
    ..no photo..

    2. Summer Song, a David Austin Rose.. large terracotta orange blooms, scented, rather floppy habit, but it's a rose everybody wants who can't get it.

    3. Odelia - orange with a strong scent, lovely foliage and does well in a pot..

Enjoy receiving your new plants tomorrow @Marlorena! Out of interest, will you plant them out now or keep them under cover for a while?

thanks.. normally I would put them in the greenhouse for another month, but the weather is so mild that I shall plant them all out, they're all hardy plants.. and I have positions ready..  what would you do?..
