Back from the dentist … no unexpected problems and the couple of teeth that are dodgy are still functional and don’t give me pain so we’re leaving them alone.

I found where John Lewis’ haberdashery frost has been moved to and bought some more wool, then came home to a pile of more cards and presents (including a box of pralines) on the doormat.  😋

While I was at the dentist OH popped into the Two Magpies bakery and bought some nice bread and a couple of treats for lunch. I’ve got a smoked salmon bagel ,… all I have to do is prep potatoes and veg for supper and then I’ll have lunch and get the knitting out …

Hmm, no frost this morning @tui34.  Hope this doesn't bode ill for spring.

Men always go on about women chatting for hours @AnnaB but men can be worse! Round here they call it mardling - and when you get two of them together talking in their Suffolk accents they can be almost as hard to understand as Welsh!  But lovely for your grandson to be growing up bi-lingual.

I always envy people who are fluent in French @Busy-Lizzie- despite taking my O level in it first at school and then as a mature student, and working with a band who were mostly French, I just don't seem to have the ear for it.  They talk so fast!

The gaslight tour sounds lovely @Allotment Boy.

The John Lewis haberdashery isn't a patch on what it used to be is it @D0rdogne_Damsel?

More laptop work for me today.  I sent off 3 funding applications for the Festival yesterday - keep your fingers crossed for us everybody!

    A first for me yesterday.
I delivered to a pupil at a school. £13,500 a term and he had Evian, strawberries and bananas delivered.

Morning everyone. Another hot day for us. It’s getting a bit repetitive. 😏

How the other half live eh? @Hostafan1?  Except it wouldn't be so bad if half of us were rich enough to send our kids to private schools.  But we're not - its the elite few.

All wet outside this morning - it must have rained overnight.
