A very good morning Debs and all dropping in later on.
Debs, I do remember your son going to Liverpool and what a lovely, romantic story. I had a rubbish night's sleep, waking up at about 02:30. I eventually dropped back to sleep at about 04:30 but I'm not intending doing too much heavy work today. Got my telephone consultation about BP at 10:30ish this morning. No apparent frost on neighbour's cars this morning.

Morning Debs and LB and those to follow. It's rained overnight so everywhere is nice ( not) and soggy again. I slept better past night but that was probably the painkillers I had to take when the injection from the dentist wore off. It was quite painful. LB, my OH had a night like yours by the sound of it.
Debs, good to hear your fiancée is liking the job, hope it continues. The story about your son is very romantic, as LB says, I hope it works  out for them both.

It’s bitterly cold outside despite the sun trying to get through. Brrrrr.

Thanks Rubee. They are really sturdy and look good to me too🤭 Will need plenty of wigwams for them plus netting, quite exciting for us as we've never grown them before.
How  is your OH doing? Is the latest treatment working still? Hope Rosie is feeling better too.

    Good afternoon.

Another very dreary day, looks like we’ll be having more rain. I noticed a leak above the bathroom window this morning, looks like the water is making its way through the flashing above the window, so another job to sort out before it worsens.

A lovely story about you son @debs64, wishing him well. Also good that your fiancé likes his new job.

Your bean plants are looking very healthy @Songbird-2 - something to look forward to harvesting later in the year.

    Hello all.

Good that your OH likes his new job, Debs.

Lovely bean, Hazel, may it produce many more beans. Why wigwams? I just use canes along the rows with twine strung along them as support against wind.

It's snowing here, hardly settling though. It was -3 C in the night.

Son 2 rang. He wants to come and stay with us in Norfolk in May the whole family, 5 little ones. Flying from Bergerac and renting a people carrier. We have 4 bedrooms, not big though, and spare mattresses. I hope we can fit them all in.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
