That brings back memories of our last move @rowlandscastle444, think we had something like 67 boxes in all after many trips to the local skip by OH with 'other'stuff. We had a bedroom and dining room piled up high with them in our new home.
We moved here 4 years ago, and still have some flattened cardboard boxes stacked in the shed. I find them very useful to exclude light from weeds when creating borders or preparing veg beds.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Sounds like your move is imminent, @rowlandscastle444? Concentrate on the excitement bit! New home, new neighbourhood, hopefully some nice neighbours. Always easier unpacking than packing, and hopefully no deadline. Having said that, dear daughter still has cardboard boxes in the corner of the living room, 18 months later! Don’t be like that!
There are often people on Freecycle and the like asking for cardboard boxes as they are moving house . Hope all is slowly coming together @rowlandscastle444
