That is helpful @thevictorian because my notes mention the handkerchief tree... plus silver birch 'Snow Queen' and Pinus patula / mexican weeping pine!!! It might be the same programme. ☺️ I wrote it aired on Friday 14/10/22. Could this be the right programme? Unfortunately my notes are minimal and I recall more in my own memory. @jordanw130815653 I don't know if this is the same programme I remembered but worth a try?😊
I think it is the same episode! I found it on BBC iPlayer but because 365 days have now passed since it aired, this episode has been knocked off the listings and is no longer there. .I'll have a look on YouTube instead, at some point.
I don't think it was the other episode I was remembering from 'Wiltshire'! I will have to continue searching for that one!
By the way, the tree is really striking isn't it?! It looks almost human. It reminded me (in shape) a bit, of those weeping pine trees.
Hope you can find a good stockist, @jordanw130815653, if that is your intention!

So satisfying to read through this thread and find the mystery has been solved! I had to google the fagus sylvatica 'aurea pendula' and I must say it looks very appropriate for this halloween season! Spooky!
And great to meet the Mexican weeping pine - a new one on me.
There is another segment I found of a collection of conifers you may be thinking of I can find the link for if you're interested?
@jordanw130815653, yes please, could you post it? My memory tells me that the 'Wiltshire' garden contained only deciduous trees but my memory could be wrong!

I've found some stockists but all out of stock, but the search goes on!
