Just to say, for anyone new to Standards, and this is going to sound awfully pernickety, but the top of the stake should finish just below the graft union.
Im not keen on Tuteurs either they never seem to line up properly.
I do think swapping Megan & boscobels a better idea, just incase! Will put Boscobel in a huge tree pot this weekend & move megan when its colder. Megans gorgeous & will look lovely out front too & then I dont need to worry about Boscobel! Ive got a nice lasting love clematis to join megan from Thorncroft . Fire, I mainly use Facebook, but it's interesting reading the threads on specific roses on helpmefind, too. I don't look at Houzz because they always seem to be discussing plants we can't buy in England! Distant Drums, Bolero, Carding Mill, Celestial Nights...
Not a personal recommendation as I haven't bought from her, but this woman Tanya is selling Crown Princess M, Darcey B and some other rarities. https://tanyas-garden.sumupstore.com My friend has bought from her and says she eventually delivers what you buy, though communication can be slow /non-existent.
Also on FB, Welling Roses has some John Paul II in stock if anyone is looking for it (you have to PM the proprietress, Marta). I was happy with all my roses from there.
@Tack since your standards are only temporarily in pots, I would leave the stake length as is to hammer deeper in the ground later. You could always pad the top of the stake with bubblewrap or soft foam to guard against chafing. I did that where a bendy inter-stem came a bit too close to the stake. All this talk of standards is making me want another one!
Talking of names, not as daft as Marlorena’s example, but I have this one coming from Guillot. I simply cannot bring myself to call a rose ‘100 garden ideas’. Any suggestions for rechristening it welcome!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Well my DA order was sent back by Evri without a single delivery attempt... At this point I would rather pay more for delivery than sit here and hope my roses actually arrive

Ive found a few strong metal stakes too, theyd look better in the front as I have other back metal supports. These look the most reasonable I recon? I might then add a drain support for a clematis & extra stability. https://www.harrodhorticultural.com/harrod-steel-plant-stakes-square-matt-black-2-pack-pid9443.html
Drain pipe support - pack2, ordered lets see how they do! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283690452962
