Petals on my Mary Delaney get fried on the sun at quite low temperatures (it seems to get affected as soon as temperature reaches 23C). Does anyone else’s MD behaves like this? Mine is entering its third year and is in full all day sun… hopefully it’ll improve this year, otherwise I’ll have to move it to a shadier location.

''this is almost the perfect upright climbing rose, I say almost as it has one fault. In the heat of summer, July/August, the flowers discolour too quickly and I have to go out there and prune them off. I don't notice this during cooler weather. Otherwise it's just what anyone could want for a tall obelisk or other structure''.
Thank you @Marlorena It looks like I’ll have to move it then. It’s right by the path leading to the house so I see spoilt flowers whenever I go in or out and it does bother me…
Here’s Mary Delaney in Mottisfont. It’s a stunning rose when in a right location…
I dug up my HT Silver Jubilee because (a) I don't really like the colour and (b) it has never grown very well for me. Going to give it to my sister as she has a newish rather long border to fill so I hope it does better for her.
I'm trying to choose a 2 to 3 ft tall, red florabunda for a very small border. Maybe plant 3 in a row. I'm down to The Times rose or Trumpter from Austins. Have any of you grown either of these before? Can you recommend? Or should i look at other options?
They will be planted in a very exposed location, no shade whatsoever and will face some pretty extreme winds and rain during the winter months.
TIA
I've just seen Ronnie O'Sullivan at the garden center. I think he was eyeing up a plant.
@HarryWhite I have not grown either of those, but I do have a short, red, shrub rose that is healthy and does well. Flanders Rose grows to about 60cm tall.
