..that's surprising as there's no indication on their website that the 2024 edition is available in UK.. the U.S. 2024 is released at this time.  Ours doesn't usually come out until Spring.

  • Well I didn't check if it gave a date when it will be delivered so it could be some time away and I haven't had an email confirmation so no idea, sorry.

  • I've just gone to the website and searched 2024 catalogue and nothing comes up. I wouldn't have noticed if the form I filled in was for the 2023 catalogue, but the email they sent (deleted) definitely said 2024.
I hope I don't get another 2023 one - I will feel responsible for a whole dead tree!

  • Just used the back arrow to go back to where I filled the form in, and it says pre-order for delivery late February.

aah ok, I expect they've put you on their mailing list for one, when available.

  • @Marlorena, yes, you're right, I was just surprised that they bothered asking.

@cooldoc somewhat belated response (I’ve been busy painting a tiresome and complicated battened ceiling) but I love your Clementina, one of many old roses I’ve been tempted by.

DA news from the EU, they have now released Elizabeth, Bring me Sunshine, Dannahue and Penelope Lively here. €27.50 for a bare root rose is expensive, comparatively speaking, for here. I might be tempted by Penelope if and when they offer an EU discount. However, I’m still very sorely tempted to order Marie Ducher from Ducher, but can’t really justify the postage for just one rose from them either!

@GardenerSuze I know La Sevillana very well, here it’s a cheap as chips landscape rose planted en masse on roundabouts and municipal plantings. So that price is indeed extortionate!

@Nollie Thankyou for that. This was only my second visit to this nursery and it was a curious mix of plants. I did get a couple of ferns which I knew were bargains. There were also plants new to me. I will go again no cafe,  just an interesting place to visit.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
