@andy1977 I heard back just a few days ago and was told shipping would be either the end of this week or early next week.
@Wild_Violet That's good to know. Did you make any changes to your order after placing it?
Hi, yes I’ve reduced the order twice. Maybe it depends more on what you’ve ordered? It’s so cold here (central Scotland) just now that I wouldn’t mind if it came a bit later. Will let you know if it arrives next week.
@Nollie sorry for the delayed reply.. My Soul is same as Tack's.. one cane has taken off vertically.. easily more than 5 ft... can be made manageable by chopping them to 2 feet or so... but blooming is similar to yours.. bunch of them on long canes which tend to bend on their weight from what I remember... love it for the colour and scent..
Only -3 here Peter.. one notices the masses of cobwebs in such conditions..
I miss 'Felicia' but I don't like to butcher roses that get too big for my confined spaces.. however, rejects often find their way back here, such is the merry-go-round..
'Indigo'.. I find this to have a reddish centre with purple outers.. sweetly scented, and not many of mine stay clean in August as this one does, even in the first year.
...first season, August, still flowering with spotless foliage.. A typical Trevor White specimen..
My bare root standard rose arrived last week. The packaging did not make clear which way up was correct and it was left the wrong way in my porch for a few hours.:The roots were a little drier than I would have expected. The stems had a little breakage at the tips. The stems are green and reddish brown - I hope this is normal as I associate browning stems with die-off!
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
@cooldoc thanks, I will recommend the chopping back of skyward-heading canes.
@clematisdorset yes get your standard plunged onto a bucket of water to just above the knobbly bottom graft point asap to rehydrate for a few hours before planting if you haven’t already done so. Just snip the broken bits off.
Talking of which, my bare roots are still soaking in a bucket in the garage three days later, I really must get them potted up today! Am waiting for it to warm up since we had our first proper frost this morning. The tail end of cold air that’s hit the UK has drifted down to us, as per the usual pattern.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

@WAMS lovely capture of frost pics there..
@Marlorena that Cornelia looks fab.. It was your pic of 'Felicia' which tempted me to order one this time..

Long time since I had a Standard, I wish 'Silas Marner' came in that form..

@Jess91 they look like sugar candied roses! Scrumptious!
