I agree @Jess91, thank you for sharing. I wonder both at CFS or one even later at Hampton FS again?
I don't have that ant/termite problem @cooldoc luckily, although I get huge ant nests in the lawn and under structures.  Maybe ants don't like the tea leaves I spread liberally under the roses?

@Tack at the moment I'm not even sure if there is one or two this year.

I asked them: "please could you let me know when the new releases for 2024 might be coming out?"

They said: "our new release for 2024 will be released at the Chelsea Flower Show in May."

'Release' implies just one.  I'm not sure if it's a typo so have asked them if there is only one this year but am awaiting a response.

That does sound like only one Jess91. How odd, that wouldn't be a commercial decision surely.

I wonder if they decided to release new roses in the green after they’ve messed up so much in 2022 - having sent out a whole lot of wrong rose instead of Elizabeth and also having lots of customers unhappy when Bring Me Sunshine has turned out to be yellow rather than orange/apricot like photos in the catalog suggested.
By unveiling the rose in bloom they can definitely manage customers’ expectations better in regard to the flower colour and form.
    That’s just my thinking…

Thank you @Marlorena @Tack pretty sure it is termites and hence the worry. Apparently they love being wet. As I remember reading that ants hate being wet and regular watering is something to consider for ant problem.

No worries @Tack, it is a conundrum what to do with skyrocket roses. I do constantly summer prune hard some front canes to keep some lower coverage and that works to a certain extent.

@cooldoc, not termites, but plenty of problems with ants and only in pots so far, probably because they dry out so much faster than those in the ground. There has clearly been termites here in the past since there we found old termite traps in the garden. Finger’s crossed they remain in the past!

I haven't found this to be the case at all. I have a current ant nest under a Buff Beauty planted last year and have tried many things to get rid. Nothing worked yet
