    My hangover cure was a scotch egg and a can of coke. It might just be that I couldn't stomach it until I was feeling better anyway🤔

    Frozen Jubbly,  our little sweet shop used to put them in their freezer.
    loved Walnut Whips,  you can still get them I think but nowhere near as good as they were,  that lovely thick chunk of chocolate at the base and a nut inside have gone.

    Not sure about the scotch egg, but coke would help.  The phosphoric acid was originally added as people weren't used to slugging down large amounts of sugar in a liquid hit when coke was first marketed and they complained it made them feel sick.  Hence the addition of phosphoric acid, an anti-emetic.

    I think it was the fat, the hard boiled egg and the caffeine. I don't like coffee so there might have been enough in the coke to give me a hit.
