  • Growing my own veg.
    Cooking meals from scratch.
    Preserving of any kind. I dip primrose flowers in beaten egg white, then caster sugar, spread out to dry for a week or two then use as cake decorations.


    But @Joyce Goldenlily … all those things are right ‘on trend’ … highly fashionable 😎 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Should I admit this?  Anaglypta wallpaper.  I also like cobalt blue paint, but not the two together!

    Especially when the beef hadn't completed dehydrated but they were a bit mean with the rice. You had to add extra.

    Surprise peas were surprisingly disgusting as was  Fray Bentos cow pie. No fridge in my first flat.
