Painted our first house in the 70’s with Magnolia,  still using it in this place,  not the same tin.
White casts grey shadows, always loooks a bit dirty to me.

To get back on the subject …..
I still like shrimps, space ships  and other 60’s sweets.

I'd rather eat Parma violet than caramac

    So did I @B3.   4 for 1d.

Didn't like the papery feel of shrimps and spaceships.   No to parma violet.

I'd rather have magnolia than all the ubiquitous greys or stark white and as for those fashionable "subway" tiles, they always make me think of toilets so not a good look in a kitchen..

Pub grey is horrible. They all look depressingly similar inside.

Truly disgusting was sweet tobacco. It tasted vaguely of coconut and had a horrible texture.

We used to get a paper cone full of parched peas on our way home from school.....juniors. Haven't seen those for decades.
