OH loves Parma violets, you can still get these. He also loves Polo fruits but these seem to be unavailable now. I did buy some for him in the airport shop in Gibraltar, but despite the label saying they were still in date, they were soft and sticky and had to be thrown out.
  • That’s interesting @Busy-Lizzie!  I’m a tall man.  I often think gardens give you a clue to whether the owner is a man or a woman and their age, but obviously not! That could be another interesting thread!

It's really disorienting when you find you got the gender wrong. You often have to do a complete reset back to factory settings. Stick a finger in an orifice and hold your breath for twenty seconds
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Those instructions sound quite painful @B3😊!

    Never liked Parma violets.

I liked blackjacks and fruit salads.
Ditto blackjacks, although fruit salads were "in".
But, the denture (and what remains of my own teeth) struggle with the chewing now.

    So did I @B3.   4 for 1d.
    4 for 1d - now that's starting to date some of us.😁
  • I liked sherbet pips, pineapple cubes, and apple tarts.

    😁

  • That’s nice to know @WonkyWomble, thank you for that reassurance! Handy for cutting hedges without ladders too!
